When you shop with Candleman Snowboards or just use this site, the website collects information to get your order done right and keep things running smooth. We only save information required to correctly complete your order and deliver it to you. We don’t sell or in any other way distribute your private info.

When you place an order, register for an account, or upload files to us, we may collect:
Your name (real or not, your call)
Email and phone number (so we can hit you up if needed)
Shipping address (so your gear gets to you)
Billing address, if different from above (credit card companies want that for security)
Uploads (like, design files)
Account info (if you register)
Website usage data (it is supposed to be useful with site improvements and is collected by the system, but we don’t really care much for it)
We use cookies. Not the edible kind. These help the site remember what you added to your cart and keep your browsing smooth. You can block them if you want, but then you might have to place your order over the phone.

Shipping providers (so stuff arrives at your door)
Payment gateways (so you can pay us)
Tech services (only the ones we trust, and only if they need access to fix some database or something)
Legal authorities (only after our door gets kicked in by the lads in blue)

Under New Zealand law, you have the right to:
Access any personal info we hold about you
Correct it if it’s wrong
Ask us to delete it (unless we legally have to keep it)

We use secure hosting, encrypted payment gateways, and best-practice data handling. No system is bulletproof, but we take this seriously. If anything ever goes wrong, we’ll let you know.
