Warranty

Candleman Snowboards offer extended 24 month manufacturer's warranty. This means that we guarantee Candleman snowboards to be free from manufacturing defects for 24 months from the day of purchase. Candleman Snowboards warranty does not extend to snowboard failure and damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, impact and normal wear and tear.

What's covered:

Structural cracks in snowboard components
Lamination failure
Misaligned inserts
Spinning or stripped inserts
Core expansion

What's not covered:

Snowboard failure or damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect or impact
Damage caused by modifications to the snowboard
Cosmetic issues including top sheet dents or chips, edge rust and discoloured graphics
Base dimples in binding insert area and minor base indentations
Damage resulting from improper mounting of bindings, stomp pads and leashes

Candleman Snowboards warrants all products sold by Candleman to be free of defects in material or workmanship for a period of twenty four (24) months from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified on the product. If a product is found to be defective by Candleman, in its sole discretion, Candleman's only responsibility shall be limited to repair or replacement of the defective product. Candleman Snowboards will not be responsible for any costs, losses or damages incurred as a result of loss or use of product.

This warranty is subject to the following limitations in addition to any imposed by virtue of applicable law.

1. The warranty applies only to Candleman products purchased from authorized Candleman Snowboards dealers and is valid for the original purchaser only.

2. All products returned to Candleman for warranty inspection must receive prior return authorization which can be given over the phone or email. Ship products freight prepaid and insured. Candleman assumes no responsibility for products during shipment from the customer to our factory. Shipping charges are not refundable.

3. Excluded from coverage under this warranty are the following:

a   Damage caused by misuse, abuse or neglect.
b   Damage caused by improper mounting or adjustment of the bindings, stomp pads and/or leashes
c   Damage caused from chairlift breakage
d   Normal wear and tear
e   Damage caused by use of solvents, adhesives, lubricants or LOC-TITE
f   Any and all claims for consequential or incidental damages

4. All coverage under this warranty is void if any modification, change or alteration has been made to the product that is not specifically authorized in writing by Candleman.

5. Repaired or replaced products are covered for the remainder of the original warranty only.

6. All warranty claims must be accompanied by the original purchase receipt from an authorized Candleman dealer. Invoice or charge receipt must clearly identify the dealer.

7. Candleman product is not covered by any verbal warranties. ROCK DAMAGE AND ANY OTHER IMPACT RELATED DAMAGE IS NOT COVERED UNDER THIS WARRANTY. ALL WARRANTIES IMPLIED BY THE LAW OF NEW ZEALAND, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE HEREBY LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE WRITTEN WARRANTY. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ANY WARRANTIES IMPLIED BY THE LAW OF NEW ZEALAND AS HEREBY LIMITED, THE FOREGOING EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, GUARANTEES, AGREEMENTS AND SIMILAR OBLIGATIONS OF MANUFACTURER OR SELLER.
